September 17th: Santorini -> Athens

Got on board the ferry at 1:30 AM. *yawn* So tired. Cleaned up a little, changed and it's nap time till Athens. Later! Oh yeah ... they have escalators in this ferry! Tried sleeping on the chair but woke up aching. Looked around and saw a bunch of girls sleeping on the floor with sleeping bags. Now that's an idea. Got out my sleeping bag, took the windbreaker as a pillow and curled up on the carpeted floor between the seat and zzZZzzz. Slept quite nicely until the announcement came at about 8 notifying us that we would be arriving in Pireaus port in about 30 mins. *yawn* Ok, got to get up. Started stuffing my sleeping bag back into its bag, freshened up and packed our bags. Went out to the ferry dock. At the dock, had to take the bus to gate 5. Looked for a tour to kill the few hours we had but didn't find anything. Went to get breakfast instad. Sat outside the train station (some kind of square), ate and just chatted. Didn't even take the ferry to visit Salamis - too lazy. Had forgotten our bottle of Resthina so we opened it and started drinking. This is around noon by the way. tried to get the pigeon drunk but no luck there.

Alright, time to go to the airport. Had to transfer twice but we did arrive and checked in. While at the gate, met up with Adi's friends' from the A-club. Chatted a little and now on the plan back to Belgium ... end of vacation. :(
